When I am looking for new books to read or new makeup to try, I always look online to read reviews or watch a youtube video review. I love that places like sephora, target, and ulta will let me return products I try that just don't work for me, but I don't like the time wasted with trips back to the stores to have to return something.I'm lazy in that way, ha. Doing a little research before I walk into a store (when I'm looking for something specific) helps cut down on returns so it's become something routine for me to do. And let's be real...I don't get to those stores often, except target, so I actually enjoy reading posts to discover new products. So here are some of my favorites lately that you might like, too.
Seamless by Angie Smith // This six week study is amazing! By far one of the best studies I have ever done. I grew up going to church which means a lot of years in sunday school but even still there is a lot of the Bible I had never explored or understood. This study helped me connect pieces and stories of the Bible together in a way that made more sense to me. And that's her goal...that you would better understand the whole bible. It's just awesome.
Young Living Lavender oil // I used this a TON over the last month. Was in my diffuser constantly.
Tartlette in Bloom palette by Tarte // I was looking for new eyeshadows and wanted some matte and some shimmery and this seemed like something I would get a lot of use out of. So far I really like it!
bareMinerals Ready Blemish Remedy Concealer // Remember when I said I almost always do a little research on a product before I buy it? Well, this was a rare exception. I saw it at Ulta and immediately put it in my bag because I love the brand and I am very prone to breakouts...especially lately. I really like it and keep it in my purse to apply to blemishes that pop up throughout the day or when my concealer has rubbed off.
DIY hair detangler // My daughters and I have been using this constantly and we love the smell! It's just 2 T. of conditioner, 6 drops lavender oil, 6 drops rosemary oil, and 6 drops tea tree oil, and distilled water in a 4 oz. glass bottle.
Buxom lip gloss // The shade I have is called Erin. Love how this feels...slightly tingly but not too much.
