Teaching With Style {november}

Hey gals!

I'm going to just go with it and do another Teaching with Style
link-up!
I do hope more of you post your favorite fall outfit and
link up because its so much fun to get ideas from other
teachers.
Because if its a favorite outfit of a fellow teacher, you know it
will be cute AND comfortable {a must for those long, cold days!}.

Here's a look I love...the picture was taken by my sister during a
fall photo session.
She's a nurse, but photography has become a hobby and she's
getting so good! I'm so excited to have my own personal
photographer now {ha!}.

I've scored some pretty cute boots at Payless this fall and
at reasonable prices, too. If you need boots, check them out!

Now its your turn to link up below!
Happy Thanksgiving!  :)

Handwriting Help!

To help some of my kiddos who are struggling with
correct letter formation and handwriting,
I created these activities to give some hands-on
and FUN practice!
{and my 3 1/2 year old is loving them too!!!}

Here's a preview of the pack and then some pictures
of them in action!

 You can check out my Handwriting Strategies pack in my
TpT shop here!

One lucky reader will win a free copy of this pack by leaving
a comment telling me any tips you have on having a student
teacher. I'm SO excited to have my first student teacher
next semester...so I'd love to hear any advice y'all got for me. :)
I'll randomly pick one commenter and the winner will be revealed
in my next post!
{which I plan on being my next teaching with style linky}

November Intervention and Freebie!

Holy cow, its November already?!?!
Doesn't seem possible.

Just wanted to share with you that my
in my TpT shop now.

I loved using my October pack with my small
group last month, so this might just become a
regular thing. :)

Here's a little preview...

I like to keep a lot of the pages in a binder with sheet protectors,
{for oral practice and practice with dry erase markers}
so I include a cover page to slide into the front of the binder.

 There are several missing number pages including
what number comes before, between, and after.

 Large, part-part whole mats are included too.
{November themed of course!}

 Some basic number identification...

 Numeral and number word cards for matching, sorting
odd/even, number order, etc...

 Handwriting practice!
{Laminate or stick in sheet protectors for dry erase
marker practice}
Blackline masters are also included :)

 You can pick this up in my shop here.

And, here's a little freebie for you from this pack!

join the party! {and win!}

Hey guys!

Hope you are having a great week. I'm busy testing
for the end of the quarter and then conferences are just
around the corner.
BUT, we are still managing to have fun in first grade
despite all the testing!

Don't forget you can still join my Teaching With Style linky party!

No one has linked up yet :(
I know we are all SOOOOOO busy so I'm not taking it personally,
but I would love to see what y'all wear to work! {is that weird?!}
How do you show your own personal style while keeping
it comfortable?!?

I'll randomly choose one person who links up, to
pick 2 items from my TpT shop for free!

Teaching with Style {linky party}

Hey y'all!

I've been thinking about hosting a linky party for a while,
inspired by my love for pinterest and putting together cute outfits for work!
I've always loved shopping and putting outfits together, but
I've never been really good at it!
Since I'm such a visual learner, those polyvore boards on
pinterest give me so much inspiration for my style!
I've even started a pinterest board for my work style....you can follow it here.
I love seeing what kind of outfits my friends, fellow teachers, and bloggy
friends put together!
I first came up with the idea of a style linky party for teachers when
Kelly started her Fashion Friday posts!
She has so many cute ideas for accessorizing her clothing. :)
And I'm also LOVING Abby and Rebecca's new series
called Teacher Chic Tuesdays. They are so adorable and I'm such
a huge fan of Abby's thrifty ways.
{anyone else a fan of thrifting?!? I love a good treasure hunt!}
So....the idea behind this linky party is to share a pic of you
showing off your trendy and cute style for teaching!
You don't have to be a model or a size 2 to link up and show
off your style! {i'm defnitely not}
Take a break from all the books, lesson plans, & grading and
have a little style fun!

Here's a few pics of what I've been wearing recently...

Can't get enough of my color jeans!

This dress is actually one-shoulder, that I bought this summer. I love
taking dresses into the fall by adding leggings...very comfortable.

Now, its your turn! Grab my Teaching with Style pic above, link up, and share a
post about your own style.
Please don't feel you need to make a photo collage or do anything
fancy. I've just been playing around with photo layouts in photoshop
recently and can't help myself. :)

The linky will be open for about a week so remember to snap a picture
of your favorite outfit over the next week.
Can't wait to see what you've been wearing!
